在課程史上,《耶魯報告書》有其一定的歷史意義,但其歷史意義為何,學者卻有不同的解讀。有認為其為反動性的文件,有認為其並非消極的抗拒時代的變化,而是主動地做出回應。此外,亦有部分學者從政治意識型態的角度,來解析此一報告書。本文除了解析《耶魯報告書》的內容重點之外,亦在比較不同學者間闡釋上的異同,以便從更為寬廣的角度來理解《耶魯報告書》的歷史意義。

英文摘要

Yale Report was significantly meaningful in curricular history. But there is no consensus among scholars in what historical meaning it has. While some scholars thought Yale Report was a reactionary document, others might thought it was a responsive one. In the meantime, some scholars scrutinize Yale Report from the view of political ideology. The aim of this paper is to present different viewpoints among aforementioned varied scholars. Besides making comparison and contrast, this paper tries to help readers comprehend Yale Report from various perspectives.
