本試驗目的為探討不同抗生素稀釋液對公羊精液品質之差異。試驗採用 3 至 4 年齡之努比亞公山 羊 2 隻及巴貝多公綿羊 3 隻,共 1040 重複。試驗設計採 2(物種) × 4(稀釋液) × 2(稀釋 倍數) × 5(儲藏時間)的複因子設計,物種處理分別為努比亞公山羊及巴貝多公綿羊;抗生素處 理分別為對照組 0.9% NaCl、磺胺類抗生素、頭孢子類抗生素、慶大黴素;稀釋倍數分別為 200 倍、 100 倍;儲藏時間分別為 0 小時、2 小時、4 小時、2 天、3 天。試驗期間,努比亞公山羊及巴 貝多公綿羊分別群養於一欄,每欄備有鹽磚,採任食乾草、任飲之方式。試驗為期 3 個月,每三 天採精一次,紀錄精液量、精子整體活力評分、個別精子活力評分、總精子數、活精子數、死精子 數、異常精子率、精子存活率、精子濃度、精液 pH 值。試驗結果顯示,努比亞山羊及巴貝多綿 羊之精子存活百分比,皆隨著儲存時間增加而顯著降低(P < 0.001);在抗生素稀釋液方面,以磺 胺類抗生素稀釋液對公羊精子個體活力、活精子數及存活率有顯著較佳之表現,且死精子數最少(P < 0.001);在稀釋倍數方面,稀釋 100 倍有較佳之個體活力、總精子數、活精子數及精液濃度(P < 0.05)。整體而言,使用磺胺類抗生素稀釋液稀釋 100 倍儲存,有顯著較高之精子存活率,但存 活率在第二天會降至 60% 以下。

英文摘要

This study was designed to determine the effect of different antibiotics diluent on ram semen quality. A total of 2 male Nubian goats and 3 male Barbado sheep of 3-4 years old were used, 1040 replications in total. Experimental design was a 2 (species) x 4 (antibiotics diluents) x 2 (diluent multiples) x 5 (storage time) factorial design: species treatments were Nubian goats and Barbado sheep; antibiotics diluents were control 0.9% NaCl, sulfanilamide, cephalosporin, gentamycine sulphate; diluent multiples were 200X and 100X; storage time were 0 hr, 2 hr, 4 hr, 2 days and 3 days. During the trial, Nubian goats and Barbado sheep were housed in their respective pens, each pen was provided with salt brick, and animals were fed on hay and drinking water ad libitum. The duration of the experiment was 3 months. Semen was collected once every three days, semen quality were recorded. Results showed that the sperm survival rate of both Nubian goats and Barbado sheep reduced significantly (P < 0.001) with increasing storage time. For antibiotics diluents, sulfanilamide group had higher individual sperm motility, live sperm number and sperm survival rate, and the least number of dead sperm number (P < 0.001). For diluent multiples, 100X diluent had higher individual sperm motility, total sperm number, live sperm number, concentration (P < 0.05). The number of dead sperm was positively correlated with storage time (P < 0.001). In summary, using sulfanilamide diluent semen of 100X had higher sperm survival rate, but the sperm survival rate were reduced to less than 60% on the following day.
