仔豬離乳後混養為常見的操作,混養造成陌生的豬隻間的打鬥行為而可能有損其生長與福祉。 本試驗旨在比較單調的高床保育欄內加裝不同豐富化資材對離乳豬混養初期之打鬥行為及生 長性能之影響。選取54 頭畜試黑豬一號四週齡離乳仔豬,分至三處理組,分別為傳統高床(對 照組;CC 組)或保育欄內設置可移動式隔板後加設單組(單鏈條組;BO 組)或雙組(雙鏈 條組;BT 組)鏈條。每處理(欄)飼養來自二窩別,共 6 頭仔豬,每處理 3 重複。飼料及 飲水採任食。以錄影-放影方式分析仔豬混養後6 小時行為。混養後第一週及第二週記錄每頭 仔豬體重及期間平均每日採食量。結果顯示,CC、BO 及 BT 組仔豬分別於混養後 2.2、1.8 及 3.1 分鐘發生第一次打鬥行為;混養後 6 小時內各組仔豬每小時分別發生5.4、4.3 及 6.2 次 打鬥現象。生長性能方面,CC、BO 及 BT 組全期之平均日增重分別為125.2、100.3 及 161.3 克/日;平均日攝食量分別為 267.7、266.8 及 284.7 克/日;而飼料效率分別為 0.44、0.38 及 0.57。無論打鬥行為或生長性能,各組間差異不顯著。本試驗於保育欄舍提供複合式豐富化資 材並不影響離乳仔豬混養初期之打鬥及二週之生長性能。

Mixing after weaning is a common practice in swine husbandry and it caused fighting behaviour between unfamiliar pigs that might be detrimental to growth and welfare of pigs. The purpose of this experiment was to study the effects of multi-enriched material on fighting behaviour and growth performance of weaned pigs after regrouping. Fifty four TLRI Black Pig No. 1 weaned pigs at four weeks old were allocated to pen of bare wire-meshed floor (control group, CC) or pen of wire-meshed floor with a movable partition board in addition to one or two sets of suspended chains (BO and BT group, respectively). There were six pigs from two litters a pen and three replicates (pen) of each treatment for two weeks observation. Feed and water were available ad libitum. The behaviour within six hours after the regrouping was recorded and analysed later. The body weight of each pigs and average daily feed intake were recorded on week 1 and 2 after regrouping. The results revealed that the latency of fighting was 2.2, 1.8 and 3.1 minutes for CC, BO and BT group, respectively. The frequency of fighting within six hours after regrouping was 5.4, 4.3 and 6.2 no./h for CC, BO and BT group, respectively. Two weeks after the regrouping, the daily weight gain of CC, BO and BT group was 125.2, 100.3 and 161.3 g/d, respectively. The daily feed intake was 267.7, 266.8 and 284.7 g/d, respectively. Feed efficiency was 0.44, 0.38 and 0.57, respectively. Neither fighting nor growth performance was different amongst treatments. Therefore the multi-enriched material in this study did not affect the behaviour during initial regrouping and the growth performance after two weeks of regrouping.
