本試驗旨在進行白色菜鴨受精持續性第 12 代之種鴨選留。母鴨於 26 與 29 週齡時,採 集 10~15 隻公番鴨之混合精液,以單次 0.05 mL 的番鴨混合精液,分別人工授精至個別 母鴨,連續收集 14 天(2~15 天)的種蛋,並檢定種蛋入孵後第 7 天照蛋所得之受精蛋 數,以瞭解本世代之表型性狀之變化,作為後續系譜繁殖及遺傳評估之依據。本世代受精 持續性相關檢定性狀顯示:受精蛋數、最長天數、有效受精天數分別為 7.13 ± 1.91 枚、 8.31 ± 2.22 天與 5.87 ± 2.26 天。經 BLUP 動物模式估計第 12 世代鴨群受精蛋數(F) 育種價後,再依系譜及其育種價做為選拔指標,共計選留公鴨 20 隻、母鴨 60 隻進行繁 殖選配,本世代選配之公、母鴨之育種價估值分別為 4.49 及 4.38。本族群第 1、4、8 及 12 代之受精蛋數分別為 4.42、4.74、5.16 及 5.87 天,育種價估值分別為 0.06、1.22、 3.42 及 4.00,顯示以受精蛋數育種價做為選拔依據,為受精持續天數選拔的正向指標。

英文摘要

The experiment aimed to select the white Tsaiya breeder ducks (G12) for the duration of fertility to reproduce next generation. At 26 and 29 weeks of age, the ducks were artificially inseminated with 0.05 mL of pooled semen from 10 to 15 Muscovy drakes. After single AI, eggs were collected for a period of 14 days for incubation. The numbers of fertile eggs at candling at 7th day of incubation were recorded to understand the phenotypic traits as the basis for the selection and genetic evaluation of breeder ducks in this generation for mating by pedigree. After 11 generations of selection, fertilized eggs, maximum duration of fertility and average duration of effective fertilization at candling were 7.13 ± 1.91 eggs、8.31 ± 2.22 days and 5.87 ± 2.26 days, respectively. The breeding values of fertilized eggs (F) were estimate by BLUP animal model and were used to be the criterion for selection of breeder ducks. In G12, the breeding value was 4.00 and the breeding values of selected 20 drakes and 60 ducks were 4.49 and 4.38, respectively. The fertilized eggs was 4.42, 4.74, 5.16 and 5.87 days and the breeding value was 0.06, 1.22, 3.42 and 4.00 at G1, G4, G8 and G12. The results showed the breeding value of fertilized eggs was a positive indicator for selection of duration of fertilization.
