七十歲男性病患因昏倒五次而急診就醫，在最近兩個月以來並有胃口差、便秘、全身無力、及貧血等現象。意外地在其左側後腹腔發現一腫瘤，手術後利用組織學及免疫染色的方法來確定診斷，經證實為良性後腹腔神經鞘瘤。因此，我們對此少見的病例提出討論並作文獻的回顧。

A 70-year old man had been sent to the Emergency Room five times because of syncope. Poor appetite, constipation, general malaise and anemia had also been noted over a two month period. A left retroperitoneal tumor was found incidentally, and a final diagnosis of retroperitoneal Schwannoma was confirmed by histological and special immunohistochemical studies. This unusual case is reported, with a review of the literature.
