中文摘要

利用流動細胞分析的方法,針對四個腎細胞癌組織進行分析。此細胞組織分別取自於兩例兩側腎細胞癌摘除之病人。結果發現每例病人之兩側腫瘤組織,其去氧核醣核酸圖形分析均有顯著之差異。其中,第一例病人右側腫瘤之去氧核醣核酸圖形顯示一含異套染色體3.66套母株腫瘤細胞群,而左側腫瘤則呈雙套染色體型態、第二例病人右側腫瘤之去氧核醣核酸圖形呈現雙套染色體型態,而左側腫瘤則顯示兩個異套染色體細胞群,分別為3.45及3.81套。因此,吾人認為這些兩側腎細胞癌的發生可能是雙動的原發,而非腎臟與腎臟間之轉移。而去氧核醣核酸流動細胞分析對於兩側腎細胞癌性質之山解應該是有所幫助的。

英文摘要

Four tumors from two patients with bilateral renal cell carcinoma (RCC) were analyzed by flow cytometry. Significant differences in the pattern of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) histogram were noted between the tumors on either side in each case. In Case 1, the histogram revealed an aneuploid stem line with DNA content of 3.66N in the right-side tumor, whereas the left had the diploid pattern, In case 2, the histogram showed a diploid pattern in the right-side tumor, while two aneuploid cell populations with 3.45N and 3.81N were noted in the left one. This suggests separate primaries, rather than kidney-to-kidney metastasis in these cases. Flow cytometric analysis may be helpful for better understanding of the nature of bilateral RCC.
