陰莖絞勒傷在過去文獻報告並不多，在本地之急診室似亦不常見。其成因在成人及兒童並不相同;而嚴重程度則因絞勒物及絞勒時間之差別有所不同。處置方式亦可能由簡單之去壓手術至複雜之截斷吻合不等。本例為成人病例卻有類似兒童之成因，因早期發現，處置簡單，癒後良好。文中並回顧自1969年至今若干文獻報告。

Penile strangulation is seldom seen or reported in this country. The causes of this problem differ in children and adults. Its treatment varies from simple decompression to reimplantation, according to the severity. A case of adult type penile strangulation is reported. Immediate relief was accomplished with a good result. Previous literature is also reviewed.
