四十四位男病人及六位女性病人藉可屈式的光纖維式膀胱尿道內視鏡檢查。所有的病人對整個檢查過程可輕易地忍受。檢查前和檢查後的尿液常規及尿液細菌培養，並無統計上顯著的差異。有兩位人因無法架腳或截石姿勢以接受傳統式的內視鏡檢查。結果顯示，可屈式膀胱尿道內視鏡檢查，對泌尿科內視鏡檢查提供了另一種好的選擇。

Cystourethroscopy was performed on 44 male and 6 female with a flexible fiberoptic cystourethroscope. All patients tolerated the procedure very well. No patients suffered from fever after the procedure. There was no significant difference between pre-examination and post-examination in urine uoutine and culture. Two patients were unable to assume a lithotomy position for the conventional cystoscopic procedure. Results suggested that flexible cystourethroscopy could provide a good option for urologic endocsopic procedure.
