沙門桿菌感染經常引起腸胃炎，偶而會影響生殖泌尿，有兩位罹患沙門桿菌感染合併急性腎盂腎結石的病例被報告，執行內引流或腎石切開術兼經皮腎造口引流術與投予廣效性抗生素，以疏解阻塞及控制感染，兩位病例臨床上經治療後，均有良好的結果。

Salmonella bacilli infection often causes gastroenteritis and occasionally affects the genitourinary tract. Two cases of salmonella infection associated with acute pyelonephritis and renal stones are reported. Internal drainage or nephrolithotomy with percutaneous nephrotomy drainage were performed, and broad spectrum antibiotics were given in order to relieve obstruction and control the infection. Both cases had good clinical outcomes after such management.
