我們曾經使用掃瞄電子顯微鏡,對五十例尿路結石的標本作過詳密的分析。結石標本經過乾燥,鍍上介質,便可觀察。經由觀察,我們發見,各種常見的結石,包括磷酸鈣、草酸鈣、磷酸銨鎂、尿酸及胱胺酸結石等,在掃瞄電子顯微鏡下,均各自呈見其獨特的形態,而這些形態均很容易辨識。即令混合結石,其中成分較少的結晶,亦無忽略之虞。使用此法,操作簡便,所採結石標本,無論大小,均可對其結構進行完整的觀察。無疑的,以掃瞄電子顯微鏡作尿路結石分析,在目前是一種非常優異的方法。 (J Urol R.O.C. , 2:352-358, 1991)

英文摘要

Identification of the components of fifty uri-nary calculi was achieved by the scanning elec-tron microscopy ( SEM ).Preparation of spec-imen requires washing, adequate desiccation and coating. The common components, including calcium phosphate, calcium oxalate, magnesium ammonium phosphate, uric acid and cystines all possess their own distinct morphology through the magnification of SEM and are readily rec-ognized. Even in mixed stones, the minor com-ponents are hardly overlooked. The procedure is easy to apply. The observation of intact archi-tecture of calculi can be easily obtained, regard-less of any size. Undoubtedly, SEM is an excel-lent approach to stone analysis at present.
