五種不同成分的尿路結石切割成高0.5、1.0和1.5公分的長方體。使其和密度尺(一種有連續20逐次昇高的鋁梯)併排,在64Kv、20mAs的情況下接受X光射。所製成之X光片再由Visionetics公司出品之電腦化影像處理機加以分析,紀結石的X光不透性和密度尺相當的刻度一影像密度(ID)。結石的ID,取決於它的成份,排列方式,和厚度。各種結石的ID和它的厚度成正相關性。以一公分高的結石為例,其ID分別為:幅射狀單水草酸鈣:5.13,顆粒狀單水草酸鈣:4.35;雙水酸鈣:4.20,磷酸銨鎂:3.98,胱氨酸:2.36。五個0.5 × 0.5 × 1.0公分的結石接受體外震波碎石術(ESWL)100震波18KV。胱氨酸除外,在ESWL的監視螢光幕上,結石的第一次碎裂震波數(易碎性)和結石的ID有著正相關性。輻射狀草酸鈣單水化物的ID最高最不易被ESWL打碎。震碎後之碎片可以通過2毫米的濾網分別為:輻射狀單水草酸鈣95%,磷酸銨鎂52%和胱氨酸26%。總之,尿路結石的影像密度和易碎性存在著正相關性。

英文摘要

Five kinds (radiant whewellite, granular whewellite, weddellite, struvite, and cystine) of surgically removed urinary calculi were cut into thickness of 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5cm rectangular cubes. Asided by a Densitometer which is made up of aluminum with 20 steps serially increased thickness, these cubes were exposed to X-ray under the condi-tion of 64KV and 02mAs. The X-ray film were read by computerized Visionetics' im-age processor, and the radiopacity of the calculus, corresponding to the scale of the Densitometer (image density), was recorded. The image density (ID) of calculi on X-ray films correlates well with the composition, architecture, and thickness of calculi. In vitro ESWL (Dornier, HM-3) pulverization of another five 1.0cm calculous rectangular cubes were done at 18KV, 100 pulses. With the exception of cystine, the inital stone fragmentation on the fluoroscopic monitor by in vitro ESWL (stone fragility) correlates well with the degree of ID. (J Urol R.O.C., 1:284-288, 1990)
