本文探討以燃料電池為電力源,將其輸出電壓經脈寬調變技術驅動直流升壓與降壓轉換器,以獲得直流42V與12V雙電壓等級作為混合動力車之輔助動力。文中描述燃料電池、直流升壓與降壓轉換器、無刷直流馬達與超級電容器之數學模型,並探討於不同負載切換下,有關燃料電池之變化特性。除此之外,本文亦模擬於負載增加時,以脈波寬度調變技數來修正馬達端電壓,以使馬達能於預定轉速下運轉。由模擬結果發現,燃料電池會因外在負載功率需求的增加,而發生電荷堆積現象,導致轉速將一時無法提高。因此,如在高壓負載端,以燃料電池搭配超級電容為電力源,將可使馬達於重載下能有足夠的輸出轉矩。

英文摘要

This paper investigates the combined PEM fuel cells with super-capacitors as auxiliary power sources for applications in hybrid vehicles. The auxiliary power sources are DC 42V and 12V which are obtained from using DC/DC boost and buck converters with a pulse width modulation technique. Moreover, the mathematical models of fuel cells, DC/DC power converters, a brushless motor as well as a super-capacitor are described to investigate different characteristics of fuel cells under load changes. In addition, using the PWM technique to correct the terminal voltage of the motor is simulated to predict the motor speed under increasing loads. As observed from the results, PEM fuel cells will produce a store of electrical charge and the motor speed will not be able to increase momentarily due to the increase of loads. Thus, super-capacitors are cooperated with PEM fuel cells at the high-voltage side of loads to maintain enough torques under heavy loads.
