中文摘要

本研究於塔關山鐵杉林 1.8 公頃之動態樣區中,調查寄生植物大葉桑寄生的數量與
在樣區中的分布情形,並研究大葉桑寄生的寄主種類和在寄主垂直高度上的分布狀況,
並以廣義線性模型(Generalized linear model,GLM)分析,研究大葉桑寄生與環境因子之
關係。樣區中大葉桑寄生的寄主有5種,以厚葉鈴木為主要,在本研究中未發現大葉桑
寄生以裸子植物為寄生宿主。樣區中總計有大葉桑寄生 373 株,其中有 350 株寄生在茶
科厚葉鈴木上,集中於少數小樣區;有 85.8%的桑寄生個體生長在 2-5 公尺的範圍。GLM
分析結果發現不同植物社會階段的大葉桑寄生株數不同(P=0.0028),孔隙期每個小樣區
有大葉桑寄生 5.21 株數量最多;其次為建造期有 2.57 株;成熟期最少只有 0.04 株,顯
示隨著植物社會的改變,大葉桑寄生數量亦會改變;大葉桑寄生與小樣區的胸高斷面積
及鐵杉均呈現顯著負相關,胸高斷面積越高表示該小樣區的植物越高大,可能隨著大徑
級植株的增加,林下光線逐漸減弱,而厚葉鈴木為林下層的物種,寄生其上的大葉桑寄
生因光線不足而無法生存。

英文摘要

A 1.8-ha plot was established in Takuanshan area of southern Taiwan to investigate the
composition of parasites in the hemlock forest. There were 373 individuals of Taxillus
liquidambaricolus with 56 individuals host tree belonging to 5 different species, mainly
Eurya glaberrima in this plot. Most parasite plants (85.8%) distributed from 2 to 5 meters
on the stem of the host trees. The GLM(Generalized linear model) results indicated that Taxillus
liquidambaricolus has distinct number in different stage of plant social. In gap phase, there were
average 5.21 individuals in per small plot. In building phase, there were average 2.57
individuals in per small plot. In mature phase, there were 0.04 individuals in per small plot.
This result showed the different plant community will influence the parasite Taxillus
liquidambaricolus. The negative relationships between parasite Taxillus liquidambaricolus
and area of DBH and density of Tsuga chinensis were significant. Since the more area of
DBH accompanied higher tree in the plot and less light under the canopy, thus the parasite
Taxillus liquidambaricolus could not survival due to lack of light.
