"本研究的目的乃是針對學校一天的生活,分析基課堂外生活所展現的功能;進而探究影響學校教育人員看待與理解「學校功能」的因素為何?
研究的結果顯示,影響學校人員思考「活動功能」有下列四個主要層面:學校人員的形式主義、學校制度與文化的影響、社會的影響與模糊的學校目標以及學校傊的信念與價值觀。至於學校教育的功能與反功能主要表現在良好的價值觀與競爭資源的心態、社會化與複製社會不平等以及養護與依賴等三個向度。最後則為研究者提出本研究的省思。"

英文摘要

The purpose of this study focuses on a day in school and analyses its function. Then this study investigates how school educators perceive and view the “function of school” and what are the factors influencing their way of thinking about this subject.
Result of the research reveals four major layers of factors concerning school workers’ reflection on “functions of activities”:formalism of school personnel, school system, cultural and social influences, blurred objectives of school, beliefs and values of schools workers. As fro the function and dysfunction of school education, the main manifestation lays on three dimensions, such as good values, attitudes toward competing for resources, socialization and duplication of social unequal, discipline, care and dependency..etc. Finally, the researchers addresses some introspection toward this study.
