快速道路講究便捷，常會通過山區，因而道路開挖時不僅需進行較大規模土方挖除，同時也可能遭遇到既有設施或地層的影響而必須加以克服。本文藉由一案例在既有道路保持正常行車之前提下，將開挖公路邊坡所遭遇之問題如地層的變異、煤礦坑之存在、高壓電塔的閃避、既有擋土設施之地錯拆除及邊坡闊挖之坡面保護工等詳加探討並研擬一通合可行之處理對策。
英文摘要
The Stressing fast and convenient，the highway accepted the road excavation in mountain areas， and therefore not only be conducted on a larger scale earthmoving ，at the same time also to existing facilities or with the effect of formation， must be overcome. This study by a case of highway， on the premise of normal traffic， the excavation of highway slope problems such as that of the stratum variation， the existence of coal layer， the evading of the high-voltage tower， existing retaining wall facilities ground anchors demolition and protection of the excavation slope， etc. to give further discussion on reservations a suitable for feasible solutions.
