有氧運動課程種類繁多,舉凡階梯有氧、拉丁有氧、拳擊有氧皆為一般健康人所設計,但是針對高齡者卻很少有台適之課程提供選擇。本篇文章介紹護膝太極有氧運動之課程內容及設計原理,希望提供臨床專業人員運動課程設計的觀念,並提供不同族群有更多元之服務。護膝太極有氧改編自翁啟修博士所創之太極有氧運動,原始的太極有氧運動包含高運動表現挑戰的內容,較容易受傷,不適合高齡者從事。本篇參考翁啟修博士與藍孝勤學者之太極有氧課程內容,強調平衡、低衝擊與慢速運動內容並為保護膝關節而設計,因此稱之為護膝太極有氧運動。動作內容與太極拳相近,操作要領與原則相差並不大,但太極拳教學課程主要操作套路教學(太極拳比賽編排固定的動作內容與順序稱之為套路),但護膝太極有氧動作內容可自由排定,因此可以依對象做動作取捨。

英文摘要

There are variety of aerobic exercises existed so far. Most of them were designed for healthy people, including Step aerobic dance, Latin aerobic, and Kickboxing aerobic exercise. Very few of them are suitable programs designed specifically for special population such as elderly. This present report introduces the content and design principles of Knee-protected Tai-Chi aerobic exercise. Hopefully, more optional services will be provided to patients. Knee-protected Tai-Chi aerobic exercise is modified from the Cardio Tai Chi exercise designed by Dr. Wong. Because Cardio Tai Chi exercise includes high performance movements, it may not be suitable for elderly. We referred to the exercise program of Dr. Wong design the Knee-protected Tai-Chi aerobic exercise. Knee-protected Tai-Chi aerobic exercise emphasizes stable low impact slow movements for using in the elderly. The movement, contents and exercise principles of Knee-protected Tai-Chi aerobic exercise are similar to Tai Chi Chan, but Knee-protected Tai-Chi aerobic exercise is easier and more flexible than Tai Chi Chan. We referred to the Cardio Tai Chi exercise of Dr. Wong and researcher Lan and designed the Knee-protected Tai-Chi aerobic.
