本研究以位於臺灣中部信義鄉內茅埔地區於1938 年造林之臺灣杉人工林為試驗地,於林齡在33、69 及73 年生時分別進行生長調查。結果顯示存活率於33 年生時為24.94%,69年生時為14.88%,至73 年生時為8.65%,林分存活率已趨穩定。由Weibull 二參數林分徑級分布頻率模擬圖觀之,徑級分布的範圍隨著林齡漸長而增加。彙整三次調查數據建立樹高曲線式為:H = 7.3541*DBH0.3293,R2 = 0.6892,顯示樹高生長仍未趨緩。藉此樹高曲線式與IPCC
之碳吸存推估公式,估算林齡在33、69 及73 年生時的林分蓄積量分別為843.092 m3 ha-1、1180.958 m3 ha-1、733.862 m3 ha-1,碳吸存量分別為239.968 ton ha-1、336.135 ton ha-1、208.878 tonha-1,平均每年每公頃碳吸存量分別為6.733 ton ha-1 yr-1、4.888 ton ha-1 yr-1、2.960 ton ha-1 yr-1,73 年生時林分蓄積量及碳吸存量下降,係因病害造成部分試驗木枯死砍伐。

英文摘要

The aim of this study is to assess the growth potential and carbon sequestration of Taiwania plantation, located at Nei-mao-pu tract, Experimental Forest, NTU, central Taiwan, at stand age 33, 69 and 73. The results show that survival rates are stabilized at the rate of 24.94% (age
33)、14.88% (age 69) and 8.65% (age 73). The analysis of Weibull 2 parameters distribution frequency shows that ranges of stand diameter classes increased with forest ages. Pooled data from three investigation were used to establish tree height equation (H = 7.3541*DBH0.3293, R2 = 0.6892),showing that tree height growth did not reduce. Using the tree height equation and IPCC formula,stand volumes are estimated to be 843.092 m3 ha-1, 1180.958 m3 ha-1, and 733.862 m3 ha-1 when stand
ages at 33, 69 and 73 respectively, and the carbon sequestration are 239.968 ton ha-1, 336.135 ton ha-1, and 208.878 ton ha-1. Stand stock and carbon sequestration decline at stand age 73 due to diseases caused by cutting.
