近年來,休閒木工DIY(Do-It-Yourself)已成為林產推廣教育中常見的一項重要活動,也是假日休閒活動中許多觀光地區提供給遊客體驗的重要活動之一。藉由這項活動可鼓勵民眾正確使用木材、愛惜資源、了解木材碳吸存之功效,且獲得休閒體驗的歡樂感受。本研究以問卷調查方式,以台大實驗林木工DIY 活動參與者,包括教師親子教育團體、台大農業體驗營學員、與森林環境暨資源學系暑期林場實習學生三個群體為對象,調查內容主要為受訪者易接受之木工DIY 活動型式,例如操作的時間及願支付的費用範圍,以及活動項目安排之重要性與滿意度等,而預期未來的林產教育活動亦為調查項目之一。本研究回收有效問卷143 份,回收率92.3%。受訪者認為休閒木工DIY 製作解說是活動安排項目中最重要的,而講員之木工DIY 製作解說傾向滿意的比例也是所有問項中最高的;但少數受訪者對場地設置安排與DIY 操作時間長度太短傾向不滿意;相當高比例的受訪者認為活動時間以半小時至1 小時半較合適;受訪者願意支付的DIY 活動費用以100 元至199 元居多;另有相當高比例的受訪者認為未來可設計如「精油萃取及其產品DIY」、「竹炭製作及其產品DIY」等活動。最後,此次所調查的三個群體,受訪者對於木工DIY 活動操作之難易程度、自己是否有組裝經驗與預期未來的林產教育活動等三個問項之間,經過卡方檢定,均有統計學上的差異。

英文摘要

In recent years, DIY activities of wood working had become one important activity of the forest products promoting education. It also is the important leisure activity on holidays that provide tourists the leisure experience in many sight-seeing areas. By means of these activities that
could encourage tourists to use wood correctly, treasure the resources, understand carbon sequestration of wood materials, and obtain happiness by good leisure experience.This research was investigated by questionnaire method to figure out some thoughts of participants
about the wood working DIY activity that held in NTU Experimental Forest. The mainly three groups including teacher and parent-child educational group, members of agricultural experience camp of NTU and students of forest farm practices of School of Forestry and Resource Conservation, NTU.The content of questionnaire including the types of wood working DIY activity that participant will like to accept, for example, the operated time, how much money they could pay for these activities,arrangement and degree of satisfaction of activities and expect of participant on forest products educational activities in the future also were one of discussed question in this research.This research retrieves 143 valid questionnaires, recovery rate 92.3%. The most important was the manufactured interpretation of leisure wood working DIY activity. And the degree of satisfaction on interpreter at manufactured interpretation of leisure wood working DIY activity also was highest. But also have some participant feel not so satisfied in operation site and operated time was too short at DIY activity. There were pretty high ratio tending to half hours to one and half hours were suitable for DIY activity. And a lot of participant will like to pay one hundred to one ninety-nine dollars to
participate this DIY activity. Besides, there were also pretty high ratio of participant expect following courses such as “extraction and products DIY of essential oils”, “manufacture and products DIY of bamboo charcoal” in the future. Finally, analyzed by Chi-square test, it exist significant difference between different group and the degree of difficulty at operate of wood working DIY activity, DIY experience by oneself and expect on forest products educational activities in the future.
