Qualcomm Incorporated is one of the leading companies in the filed of 3G and next-generation mobile technologies, and devotes itself to the development of mirasol technology. Mirasol technology gets its idea from the nature. Based on a reflective technology called IMOD (Interferometric Modulatior), with MEMS structures at its core, this innovative display technology would allow consumers to read in direct sunlight and would still remain low power consumption. The following are selected questions from an exclusive interview with Y.C. Shih, Senior Vice President, Qualcomm MEMS Technologies.
