近年來隨著GPON產品在接取網路的部署量逐步擴增及GPON網路承載業務的多樣化,GPON網路的管理必需可提供光纖接取網路靈活的端對端配置以滿足各式承載業務的需求。GPON及下世代XGPON光纖網路的協定體系訂有OMCI協議來達到彈性建立特性各異的網路組態服務流之目的,但有鑒於SNMP已普遍被許多管理系統使用,本文將提出一個由SNMP轉介到OMCI協定的方法以整合GPON管理到SNMP管理系統中。本文並將討論如何在GPON網路中實現電信級乙太網路的連接故障偵測管理功能以協助網路管理者快速地定位網路中的故障點以利排除故障。最後並介紹可在50ms內快速回復故障光纖鏈路上所有服務流的GPON保護切換機制。

英文摘要

In recent years, as the gradually increasing GPON products deployments in the access network and the diversification of the GPON network services, the demand for an integrated GPON management system which can configure end-to-end service flexibly grows accordingly. GPON and the next generation XGPON system are equipped with a tailored OMCI protocol to setup service flows with a variety network configurations. But in view of SNMP is the dominated network management protocol, this paper will propose an SNMP to OMCI proxy method to integrate the GPON management into an SNMP system. This article will also address how to implement the carrier-grade Ethernet connectivity fault management in GPON network s and by which the network manager can quickly locate a fault point in the connected network and to facilitate troubleshooting. Finally, a GPON fast protection switching mechanism which can quickly restore all service flows on a malfunctioned GPON link within 50ms is introduced.
