The general commercially available insulated cup mainly consists of a cup with a lid, this article proposes a new modified heat-insulating cup, and this creation is mainly characterized by adding a closed cap at the
opening of the cup. This closed cap may be open or closed with a push button switch located on the side of the cup. This innovative design makes sure that the opening of the cup is closed at all times which prevents heat loss by the contained liquid, improving the insulation effect of the insulated cup. At the same time, it is also able to prevent spill when suffering a collision, avoiding stains on the desktop or the risk of user burns.
