本論文提出一種創新的多頻多天線設計技術,並運用該技術成功實現一能應用於薄型筆記型電腦的LTE多頻帶低耦合4埠天線設計。該多天線設計由一對雙天線結構分別對稱配置於筆記型電腦螢幕框架的左上與右上角落位置所組成。並且所設計的雙天線結構包含兩個能涵蓋LTE700/2300/2500頻段操作的相同小型化天線單元,分別正交配置於該左上或右上角落的兩個相鄰邊上。為了解決多頻操作模態的能量耦合問題難以同時被抑制的情況,我們設計該小型化天線單元激發雙基模操作的共振模態。並且藉由在相鄰的小型化天線單元間設計一短接地共振結構作為天線單元較高操作頻段的阻波器,以及一未接地的長彎折共振結構作為天線單元較低操作頻段的耦合能量消除機制。該4埠天線均能成功於LTE700/2300/2500操作頻段達成高能量隔離程度的特性,並且具有良好的天線輻射特性以及場型空間分集特性。因此其除了能應用於MIMO系統,也能滿足場型切換天線系統的實際應用需求。

英文摘要

This paper presents a novel multiband multi-antenna design technology to implement a LTE multiband low-mutual-coupled 4-port antenna design for thin-type notebook application. The proposed multi-antenna design mainly consists of a pair of two-antenna structures disposed symmetrically and respectively at right and left upper corners of the supporting metal frame of the laptop display. The proposed two-antenna structure comprises two identical compact antenna units covering LTE700/2300/2500 bands and orthogonally locating at two adjacent edges of the upper right or left corner. In order to improve the multiband decoupling problems which are difficult to be suppressed simultaneously, the proposed compact antenna unit is designed to generate dual-fundamental modes operation. Additionally by further designing a grounded short strip resonator embedded between the two nearby compact antenna designs as a higher-band wavetrap and an un-grounded long folded line resonator as a mutual coupling cancellation mechanism for the lower operating band of them, high isolations, good antenna radiation performances and good pattern-diversity characteristics are obtained for the proposed 4-port antenna design, which satisfies the requirements of both practical MIMO and pattern-switchable multi-antenna system applications.
