This subject discusses technicalities for using PHP 5.x to administrate Squid and DNS, DHCP configurations for RHEL based LINUX distribution such as Scientific LINUX. We disable PHP’s safe mode and use sudo to execute system commands(ex: iptables, service) from web form. There are some critical points to discuss in this paper.
