When the issue of author or authorship is raised, the question of the subject of text or speech becomes a relevant issue. This article examines this issue from the later Heidegger’s position that highly estimates poetry. It begins with Heidegger’s discussion of the naming of things by a poet, then states that an author as poet joints, instead of objectifying the Being, and lastly sees how such an author responds to, instead of overcoming the fate. Insofar we can at least understand what a kind of author when he or she becomes a poet whom Heidegger describes about.
