臺大實驗林轄下之溪頭自然教育園區内螢火蟲資源相當豐富,為瞭解園區内螢火 蟲資源種類及分布情形,在園區内針葉樹標本園區、通量塔周圍、鳳風林道、大學池、大 學坑、商店街共6個樣區從2011年起進行連續4年採集調查。結果發現溪頭全年均有螢火蟲 發生,其中螢科及雌光螢科物種總共有12屬35種,其中以以熠螢屬(Lucio/a) 、弩螢屬( Drilaster) 、短角窗螢屬( Diaphanes )各5種,分別各為14 %為最多;其次為窗螢屬( Pyrocoelia) 4種佔11 %:脈翅螢屬(Curios ) 4種佔l1 %;且每螢屬(Absco ndita ) 3種佔9%:﹔雙梯角螢屬( Cyphonocerus〕2種佔6 %﹔ 1鋸角螢局( Lucidina) 2種佔6 %﹔水生螢屬 ( Aquatica) l 種3 %﹔重鬚螢屬( Stenocladius) 1種估3 %﹔為螢屬(Lamprigera) l種佔3 %﹔辮角螢屬(他sta) 1 種佔3 %及雌光螢斜雌光螢屬(Rhagophthalmus ) 1種佔3 % 。調查的 6個樣區中,以針業樹標本圍及鳳凰林道二樣區採得最多種類螢火蟲,各為24種:其次為 大學坑樣區,共16種:商店銜樣區採得14種:通 量塔樣區為8種及大學池,樣區為6種。整體 而言溪頭以黑翅婪、鋸角雪螢分別為卷、冬季兩大明顯之優勢種。園區內螢火蟲種類的水 平分布型態上包含了中部型、中北部型、中南部型、廣布型,而且主要以廣佈型和中北部 型為主﹔而在垂直分布上為山地下層帶( 500 - 1500 m ) 及山地機林帶下厝( 2000 - 2500 m) 兩型n 依本調查結呆製作溪頭自然教育園區內之螢火蟲名錄,並提出未來園區螢火蟲 生態保育及環境教育等工作之基礎參考資料。

英文摘要

The Xitou Nature Education Area, a part of the Experimental Forest, National Taiwan University (NTU), is abundant in firefly resources. To understand diversity and distribution of the firefly resources in this area, we have conducted an investigation on the firefly populations in 6 sample plots for 4 successive years since 2011, including Conifer Arboretum (CA), Flux Tower Surroundings (FTS), Phoenix Logging Road (PLR), University Pond (UP), University Gulley Debris Park (UGD), and Shopping Street (SS). The results showed that the fireflies could appear all year-round in Xitou and that 35 firefly species of 12 genera from the family Lampyridae and Rhagophthalmidae (with only one species) were recorded during the survey period. Among these, Lucio/a, Drilaster and Diaphanes were the most abundant genus having 5 species and constituted 14 %, respectively. Secondly, Pyrocoelia and Curtos both had 4 species constituting 11 %, respectively. Then, Abscondita had 3 species consituting 6 %. In addition, Cyphonocerus and Lucidina each had 2 species constituting 6 %, respectively. Finally, another 5 genera with solitary species were Aquatica, Stenocladius, Lamprigera, Vesta, and Rhagophthamus (Rhagophthalmidae). In the 6 sample plots, CA and PLR had the highest species richness hosting 24 firefly species, respectively, followed by UGD with 16 species. Furthermore, SS, FTS, and UP had fewer species with 14, 8, and 6, respectively . In general, Abscondita cerata was the dominant spring firefly species in Xitou, while Diaphanes lampyroides was the primary species during the winter. Moreover, the horizontal distribution patterns of the investigated firefly species included central (C), northern central (NC), southern central (SC), and widely distributed (W), among which W and NC were the most common types. On the contrary, the vertical distribution patterns of the firefly could be classified into two types, submontane forest (SM, 500-1500 m) and Quercus upper zone of montane (MU, 2000-2500 m). This study has clarified the firefly species in Xitou Nature Education Area, and provided the basic information for firefly conservation and environment education.
