新加坡教育採取菁英制且學校進行分流教育,讓學生能夠獲得與其能力相符的教育內容,其目的在於讓學生未來都能在社會上獲得適切的工作位置。為了解新加坡補救教學政策如何在菁英主義下進行,以供我國參考,本文透過文獻與個案學校分析,探究新加坡補救教學政策與實踐的情形,結果發現新加坡補救教學具有及時性、流動性、準確性、熟悉性、合宜性與無額外經費補助之作法,可做為我國思考補救教學政策與實踐的議題,例如:補救教學的目的、為整體學校的責任、教師是關鍵因素、符合學生需求、學習表現判斷、為支持學生學習的重要策略等,未來規劃與改善的參酌依據。
Elitism and streaming education are the obvious characters in education system of Singapore. The education system is designed in effectiveness for students receiving appropriate education according to differentiate ability and positioning suitable job in labor force. The goal of this paper is to investigate the policy and practice of remedial education in Singapore under elitism and streaming system and to be reference to Taiwan by literatures and case school analysis. The attributes such as timeliness, fluidity, accuracy, familiarity, propriety, and, no additional funding grants in remedial teaching in Singapore lead the policy makers of Taiwan to rethink issues of remedial teaching.
