本研究欲瞭解技專校院一級主管(含系主任)及二級主管的核心管理職能。選擇修平科技大學為個案,以該校教師與職員工為樣本,調查其對學校一級和二級主管應具備核心管理職能的重要性程度及現況,使用重要–表現程度分析法,以確認核心管理職能優勢和進行差距分析。研究結果發現一級主管職能優勢聚焦於跨域協調能力,職能差距在於策略分析以及團隊激勵與領導能力;二級主管職能優勢在知識管理與運用以及流程與時間管理,差距集中於指導與經驗傳承,以及目標設定與執行。

英文摘要

This case study mainly analyzed the core management competencies for top managers and middle managers in the Hsiuping University of Science and Technology. The faculty and staff as sample were surveyed their opinion about top and middle managers’ core management competence. The opinion included the importance and implementation toward the core management competence of top and middle managers. Importance-performance analysis was used to identify the advantage of core management competence as well as analysis the gaps between importance and implementation in core management competence were the main purpose. This finding indicated that top managers’ advantage core competence was cross border coordination; on the other hand, the gap of core competence included strategic analysis, team motivation and leadership. Furthermore, the middle managers’ advantage of core competence included knowledge management and its application, process and time management; the gap of core competence included direction and experience sharing, as well as goal setting and implementation.
