斜草草虎甲蟲一一種新發現的成甲蟲，其地理分布控為侷限，目前只在金灣東南部 的3處地點有採無紀錄﹒成益的斑紋特徵可以將此一新種與他種明顯地區隔開來，本種的 種小名源自於其翅輸中央帶紋向下斜的形狀﹒成品在透光或半遮蔽的步道上活動，已知出 現於5至8 月﹒

A new cicindelid species was discovered in southeastern Taiwan and was described in this study. The features ofmaculation are used to distinguish it from the other species oftiger beetles. The adults ofthe new species are active on clear or semi-shaded path in low altitude areas, and can be found from May to August.
