In recent years, sketching robot has entered an active period, the demand for sketching robot’s creativity, technology, price, aesthetic and other requirements are also gradually increasing. In view of the present common sketching robots are typical of large size, high power consumption and high manufacturing cost, this project was designed and implemented a new type of portable sketching robot and a set of stick figure sketching recognition algorithm based on convolution neural network, able to convert hand drawn stick figure sketching into corresponding images which is more standard and can be drawn by the robot. It can also convert other different types of images into path points for robot sketching.
