1920 年代開始,臺灣研究者逐漸投入民間文學蒐集的工作,並以建構臺灣主體性為立場。鄭坤五於1927 年將臺灣民間褒歌37 首詳加點評加註,命為〈臺灣國風〉,發表於《臺灣藝苑》,企圖提升臺灣歌謠的文化主體。若以文體學的研究路徑來看,文體的形成環境與功能,會限制文體特徵與風格的導向,因此褒歌大量情慾書寫的內容,便不必然與民族建構、文化傳承有關。再從褒歌的形成環境與歌者語境立場來看,褒歌的主要功能亦非傳情達意給某個對象,較多的層面應該是做為一種勞動文學,作為一個集體環境中調節氣氛的角色。目前研究,少有論述「臺灣褒歌」之專著,這與民間褒歌「對口合唱」條件的模糊與文本的缺少有關。因此在研究的方法上,多針對「臺灣褒歌」的情愛書寫內容分類為主,但對於褒歌何以具有如此龐大的情歌書寫說明略顯薄弱,可謂是現今學界提及褒歌必然與情愛書寫進行聯想的一脈思路。故本研究以文體學研究的路徑出發,利用褒歌「對口合唱」的文體特色,探討情慾書寫的內容從口傳的即興創作,到案頭文學的產出有著何種面向的思考。

Beginning in the 1920s, Taiwanese researchers gradually invested in the work of collecting folk literature and took the position of constructing Taiwan's subjectivity. In 1927, Zheng Kunwu raised the commentary of Taiwan's folk songs 37 and added it to the title of "Taiwan's National Wind", which was published in "Taiwan Art Garden" in an attempt to promote the cultural subject of Taiwanese songs. According to the research path of stylistics, the formation environment and function of stylistics will restrict the orientation of stylistic features and styles. Therefore, the content of a large number of erotic writings is not necessarily related to national construction and cultural inheritance. From the perspective of the formation environment of Yangko and the linguist's context, the main function of Yangge is not to convey the meaning to a certain object.
