Unmanned aerial vehicle has been applied to a wide range of industries. The global unmanned aerial vehicle market size was valued at $10.72 billion in year 2019 & is projected to reach $25.13 billion by year 2027. Unmanned aerial vehicle designers have endeavored to integrate technologies and apply business management in hope of having a share of the unmanned aerial vehicle market. Based on user’s perspective, this research designs an innovative unmanned aerial vehicle. Through integrating contemporary management mechanisms, it provides an innovative unmanned aerial vehicle design and operation management. Hence, the paper combines two modes of take-off. An unmanned aerial vehicle with propeller-driven take-off and fixed wing take-off is designed by the researcher. SWOT analysis is employed to analyze economic benefit of the innovative design. The new unmanned aerial vehicle, which is mainly applied to commercial use, can be effectively managed. Based on field testing and analysis, a new design with characteristics of traditional unmanned aerial vehicle is completed. The paper also deals with unmanned aerial vehicle application to building outer wall tiles and campus security that can be regarded as a guide for related research in the future.
