量子產品需輕薄短小，台灣可發揮所長。美國光學學會與康寧公司合作(Corning)在六月初發表了量子科技發展路線圖報告(OIDA Quantum Photonics Roadmap)。該報告揭示，量子科技將在電信、醫學、金融等市場發揮重大影響，但其產品在工程上精進是這些技術商業化所不可或缺的。

Quantum products need to be light, thin and short, and Taiwan can use its strengths. The American Optical Society and Corning Corporation (Corning) published the Quantum Technology Roadmap Report (OIDA Quantum Photonics Roadmap) in early June. The report revealed that quantum technology will play a major role in telecommunications, medicine, finance and other markets, but the engineering advancement of its products is indispensable for the commercialization of these technologies.
