「自然之命」直接見於〈天運〉，是天、道在人之生存處境中的落實過程和結果。莊子的自然之命是對人之有限性的概括，又是對人之有限性的超越。道是人之內在超越的終極依據，為人之有限性和對有限性之超越的統合創造了可能。自然之命以常和變的方式流行，前者展現為必然，後者對應於偶然。必然和偶然皆以自然為邏輯基礎。只有自然之命才能攝納莊子之命的全部內容。

“Natural Fate” is written in Zhuangzi directly, which refers to the process and results of the embodiment of Heaven and Tao in human being’s existential situation. Natural Fate summarizes limitation of human being, and also means that human being can transcend their limitation. Dao is the ultimate foundation of human being’ s immanent transcendence, which creates possibility for taking limitation and immanent transcendence of limitation as a whole. Natural Fate will expand its content in the way of Chang (常) and Bian (變). The former represents itself as inevitability, and the latter as occasionality. Inevitability and occasionality are based on naturalness logically. Only naturalness can summarize all the contents of Natural Fate.
