本文以「朗讀」為旨,初則檢視並整理來自五個不同領域的相關說法,繼而引入「敘事論」與「身體論」並提議以「身體敘事」(embodied narrative)為理論核心,強調「朗讀」並非僅是聲音的傳送而更是說者(朗讀者)轉換故事文本後,透過肢體動作而與聽者持續互通有無的傳播歷程,可重新定義其(朗讀)為「整合身體各部位以充實並啟動(enact)故事念讀內涵的傳播(溝通)行動」。
Using “reading aloud” as an example, this paper first reviews and then integrates those related activities in different areas. By applying some research results from the narrative as well as the body turn, the paper suggests to introduce “embodied narrative” as the theoretical basis emphasizing that reading aloud can be more than raising the sound but instead transforming body information to tell the story and interact with the audience. With this in mind, reading text aloud may be re-defined as “a communicative action to integrate body movements and to enrich and enact the process of storytelling.”
