從有人類之始，就有夢相隨，夢的歷史跟人的歷史一樣長久，解夢也跟歷史與文化的發展而有不同意義，在20世紀之初，佛洛依德以《夢的解析》一書，將夢導入人的潛意識中，也開始以夢來從事心理分析跟治療，本文則以解夢的歷史回憶去回顧整個人類對夢的註解，另外也從哲學諮商的角度賦予解夢新的詮釋，並提供DREAMS解夢哲學諮商法，希望在此更新中能夠讓解夢為人類的心靈開展出新的意義。

Before The Interpretation of Dreams was published, both Chinese and Western world regarded the meaning of dreams as a sign or prophecy. The interpretation of dreams was not based on the discussion at the psychological level, but was a tool to predict people’s future with divination or to explain their fates. After Freud, the meaning and the interpretation of dreams began to transfer back to the experiential and spiritual analysis of people themselves, and even related to childhood experiences. Dreaming has become a further discussion of self-understanding or an important way to apply psychotherapy. This article mainly aims to interpret dreams from the perspective of philosophical consultancy, or it can be said to use dreams as a method of philosophical consultancy. This method is called “DREAMS” philosophical consultancy method. This article attempts to use dream interpretation as a method of philosophical consultancy, which is to focus on the problem and enable the counselee to make good use of rationality to solve the problem. Dreams seem beyond experiences, but they are also the experiences of ordinary people after sleep. When the counselors do not regard the counselee as a mentally ill person, nor do they regard dreams as absurd and unreasonable things, they can interpret the person and the dream through the experiential language and create the interaction between them. By doing so, the problem can be solved through dreams. By a more natural, more experiential, and more rational analysis and language interpretation, people can directly infiltrate the power of dreams into the dilemma of real life, which not only helps the dream come true, but also turns the dilemma into a wonderful dream in reality.
