上個世紀七○年代即大力宣揚中國儒學現代化與世界化的成中英指出，中國儒學必須發揮原始生命力並與新時代視野融合，成為中國精神文化與心靈思維的智慧寶藏。成中英除了早先在美國大學哲學系開設中國哲學課程，還在美國創辦了《中國哲學季刊》英文刊物以及建立「國際中國哲學」學術會議，為中國哲學立足美國並邁向世界化與成為世界哲學潮流，做出劃時代的巨大貢獻。此外，成中英不僅提出本體詮釋學，還以《易》學作為儒學的源頭活水。出入中西，歸本大易，入乎其內又出乎其外的深入與深化世界文化的多元創新，發揮理論實踐的統一精神。因此本文將從成中英如何在美國發展、分析並重建中國哲學，打破美國哲學偏狹淺薄的二分流弊，尤以中國儒學的過程和重點以及成就著手，並以本體的體驗與實踐在人的有限性中潤物沾溉，從由體現心智靈明的綿延無盡，開啟未來以本體詮釋學為基準的方法與理念，樹立中國哲學朝向世界哲學主流之世界化發展的重要價值意蘊。

In addition, Chung Ying-cheng not only proposed Onto-Hermeneutics, but also took Zhouyi as the source of Confucianism. From China to the West, and back to Zhouyi, we will delve into the diverse innovations of world cultures and bring into play the unity of theory and practice. Therefore, this article starts from how Chung Ying-cheng develops, analyzes and rebuilds Chinese philosophy in the United States, breaks the biased abuse of American philosophy, starts with the process and focus of Chinese Confucianism, and uses the experience and practice of noumenon to make the mind and spirit smarter. To open the future with the method of Onto-Hermeneutics, to establish the important value of the global development of Chinese philosophy towards the mainstream of world philosophy.
