每個城市都有它的履歷，有它區別於其它城市的文化符號。當下，城市形象成為拉動城市旅遊、經濟的重要因素，城市形象建構為增強城市競爭力提供有效途徑。城市結合當地文化建構具有自身特色的城市形象，是城市提高競爭力，提升城市文化軟實力的發展重點。本文以閩南文化為典型的文化符號案例，通過對漳州古城內閩南文化建設現狀進行分析，探討以閩南文化為主的漳州古城對漳州市整體城市形象建構的重要性，進一步探尋信息時代下我國中小城市、“配角城市”城市形象建構的發展方向。

Every city has its resume, its cultural symbols that distinguish it from other cities. At present, the city image has become an important factor driving the city tourism and economy, and the construction of city image provides an effective way to enhance the city competitiveness. The construction of a city image with its own characteristics in combination with the local culture is the development focus of a city to improve its competitiveness and enhance its cultural soft power. This paper takes Minnan culture as a typical cultural symbol case, analyzes the current situation of Minnan culture construction in the ancient city of Zhangzhou, discusses the importance of the ancient city of Zhangzhou dominated by Minnan culture to the overall urban image construction of Zhangzhou, and further explores the development direction of the urban image construction of China's small and medium-sized cities and "supporting cities" in the information age.
