益收生長素(ethephon)在鹼性及高溫之條件下會快速分解產生乙烯(C2H4),測定乙烯之生成量可間接定量益收生長素,本研究即利用此一原理進行反應並以氣相層析附火焰離子檢出器(gas chromatographyflame ionization detector, GC-FID)測定反應生成之乙烯來定量農產品中益收生長素殘留量。添加益收生長素於蘋果、葡萄、番茄、奇異果及甘蔗中1~3 ppm 檢體濃度,回收率為88.3~98.6%,變異係數為2.2~7.5%。本檢驗法之最低檢出限量為0.1 ppm 。
Ethephon quickly decomposes to ethylene under alkaline and hightemperature conditions. In this research, we developed a rapid and simple methodsuitable for routine analysis of ethephon residues in agricultural products using gaschromatography (GC) equipped with a flame ionization detector (FID). This methodwas based upon the headspace sampling and determined the ethylene formed. Averagerecoveries from apples, tomatoes, grapes, kiwifruits and sugarcane, which werespiked with 1~3 ppm ethephon, were in the range of 88.3~98.6% and the coefficientof variation were ranged of 2.2~7.5%. The detection limit was 0.1 ppm.
