     本研究主要目的為瞭解大專護理教師學術生產力狀況(包括參與研究、專業論著與參與國內外專業學術活動),並探討影響學術生產力之相關因素。本研究採郵寄問卷調查方式,研究對象包括臺灣地區大專護理院校講師級以上的教師共155位。結果發現,約有一半以上的教師在一年內未參與研究、無專業論著、在國內外學術活動中無任何演講或論文發表。影響教師學術生產力的因素包括:年齡、年資、職位、任教學校、教育程度、婚姻狀況及有無子女。而對整體生產力、參與研究、專業論著、參與國內外學術活動最有解釋力的因素依次為年資、有無子女、年齡與任教學校。

英文摘要

     The purposes of this study were to understand the academic productivity(research-related academic activities, non-research academic publication activitiessuch as books or articles, and professional academic services such as conferencepresentation or seminars) of the nursing faculty in colleges and universities andto identify related factors that might influence their academic productivity. Thedata were collected by mailed questionnaire. One hundred and fifty-five full timecollegiate faculty participated in this study. The results showed that less than50% of the subjects indicated active involvement in research, non-researchpublication, and national or international professional academic activities. Thefaculty's age, teaching experience, position, school, highest degree, maritalstatus and having children were the variables found to have a significantrelationship to faculty academic productivity. The significant predictors of thefaculty's academic productivity were teaching experience, having children, ageand faculty's working school.
