本研究探討 Parker 所編訂的雙親教養態度量表（ Parental BondingbInstrument, PBI ），在跨文化因素的影響下於本國的適用性。雙親教養態度量表屬於自陳式量表，評估個案在 16 歲前記憶中雙親的教養態度及行為。此量表共 25 題，其中關懷因素（ care ） 12 題，保護因素（ protection ） 13 題。研究中將 Parker 雙親教養態度量表翻譯成中文，再回譯為英文，達成文字之修飾後經預試，再使用項目分析、因素分析、內在一致性度及再測信度的方式，測試雙親教養態度量表中之信度與建構效度。研究對象為正常年輕人 160 位，男性 87 位，女性 73 位。 研究結果顯示量表中均含關懷（ 12 題）及保護（ 13 題）兩個因素，並且因素所佔之變異數百分比與國外文獻相類似；另外，再測信度為 0.66-0.88，Cronbach's α係數 0.65-0.73 均在可接受的範圍之內。因此，研究結果顯示中文版的雙親教養態度量表，可適用於本國。　

　　　　　The purpose of this study is to explore the adaptability of theParental Bonding Instrument (PBI), designed by Parker, under the cross-culturalinfluences in Taiwan.
