     本研究是建立使用分光光度儀測量人體汗液中碘含量之方法。將汗液樣本使用超音波振碎機使汗液均質化,然後使用強酸加入汗液中, 使各類碘化合物轉化成碘酸物 (iodate),然後以此碘酸物催化 As 及 Ce 之氧化還原反應發生之呈色作為汗液中碘含量之測定依據。結果顯示,本研究發展之方法對汗液中含碘量可作適當之定量,其準確度介於 105.6 ~ 110.2 %,其精確度 CV 值為 3.4 ~ 5.7 %,測定範圍為 2 ~ 10 ng/mL,利用本法取 10 名自願者之汗液樣本共 40 個,測得其汗液中含碘量,平均值為 36.6 ± 6.7 μ g/L。 此研究提供了測量體液中含碘量的一個簡單、精確及可行之測定方法,可應用於流行病學及生理學上之研究。

英文摘要

     A spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace quantitiesof iodine in human sweat has been developed. The samples were completelyhomogenized by ultrasonication. Various forms of iodine in sweat were convertedinto iodate by acid digestion. The converted iodate then acted as a catalyst forthe reduction reaction of Ce (Ⅳ ) in the presence of As (Ⅲ ) to develop colorchange for colorimetric analysis. The accuracy and precision of this method weretested with the spike method. From the experimental results, this method hasbeen proved to be accurate enough for the determination of total iodineconcentration in human sweat samples ranging from 2 to 10 ng/mL. A total of 40sweat samples of 10 volunteers were examined, and the average concentration ofiodine was found to be 36.6 ± 6.7 μ g/L. These results suggest that thismethod is a simple, reliable, feasible and sensitive method for thedetermination of iodine concentration in human body fluids.
