     由於妥瑞氏症候群與慢性抽搐疾病的預後與治療是不同的,所以早期的鑑別診斷很重要。本研究利用鎝-99m-ECD腦部單光子射出斷層掃描以區別妥瑞氏症候群與慢性抽搐病症的不同。95位妥瑞氏症侯群及31位慢性抽搐病症的兒童全部接受鎝-99m-ECD腦部單光子射出斷層掃描檢查。以肉眼觀察鎝-99m-ECD腦部單光子射出斷層掃描來區別妥瑞氏症侯群與慢性抽搐病症的敏感性、特異性、正確性分別為78%、75%、77%。研究結果顯示核醫鎝-99m-ECD腦部單光子射出斷層掃描可以用來區別妥瑞氏症候群與慢性抽搐病症。

英文摘要

     Early differential diagnosis between Tourette's syndrome and chronic tic disorder is difficult but important because the outcome and treatment of these two child- onset diseases are different. Therefore, it would be useful to identify a good diagnostic tool for differentiating Tourette's syndrome from chronic tic disorder. The aim of this study was to evaluate the usefulness of brain perfusion by 99mTc-ECD brain SPECT in distinguishing children with Tourette's syndrome from chronic tic disorder in a large sample of patients. Ninety-five children with Tourette's syndrome and thirty-one children with chronic tic disorder underwent brain SPECT with 99mTC- ECD. Based on visual interpretation, 74 of 95 (78%) of the Tourette's syndrome and 8 of 31 (25%) of the chronic tic disorder had hypo-perfusion lesions. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of 99mTc-ECD brain SPECT in differentiating Tourette's syndrome from chronic tic disorder was 78%, 75% and 77%, respec- tively. 99mTc-ECD brain SPECT offers promise in differentiating Tourette's syndrome from chronic tic disorder.
