本研究建立一個理論性的架構來探討臺灣資訊部門的權力來源。本研究之整合研究模式是以策略權變理論為基礎來加以補強修正，研究模式包括基礎模式、及補強修正後的中介模式，與中間模式三部份。實證資料驗證之結果顯示：策略權變理論用來解釋資訊部門權力的來源，除了基礎模式中的直接關係之外，必須進一步觀察中介模式與中間模式的關係才能較正確的了解與預測資訊部門的權力來源。本研究除了深入了解臺灣資訊部門的權力現況與權力來源之因素外，對於策略權變理論應用於解釋資訊部門權力來源的關係上，有深入的討論與修正。

The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that have influence on Information Department’s power. The Strategic Contingencies’ Theory (SCT) is used to build to the basic research model. Two WCT enhanced model namely moderate model and mediate model are also built to test the relationships among variables. The findings of this study suggest the enhanced moderate model and mediate model both have higher explanation power compared with original ase model.
