IT產業的智慧財產經營佈署和研發策略的擬定，已不比過去走一步算一步的日子。大型的專利訴訟與國際大廠爭相推動制定技術標準，IT產業也隨著跨入新的時代。台灣廠商看好大陸地區之優質研發人才，而不斷前往大陸設立研發中心，兩岸在高科技產業的互動與競合上，也已進入智慧財產保護及研發策略的新紀元。本研究利用大陸參訪之機會進行個案的實地訪察，參訪全球性工業電腦龍頭廠商－研華科技，以及大陸IT產業軟體排版龍頭廠商－方正集團。並針對個案對智慧財產保護之積極性與差異性進行分析比較。並得出結論?，大陸廠商對智慧財產保護、管理之觀念與積極度已不可同日而語，在專利與技術標準之結合亦有所認知，且擁有中國廣大的市場及舞台，台灣廠商不可不慎。須善用自身技術創新能力與品牌經營之優勢，並建立完善的智慧財產保護與管理機制，掌握企業之競爭優勢來源－核心能耐，將IP之價值與效益發揮至最大。

Unlike the passive thinking of the past, the IP management and R＆D strategy of IT industry nowadays play a different role. The battle of IT industry is changed regarding to the launch of several large-scaled patent litigations and the devotion of big companies upon standard-setting,. For cheaper and better innovative human resource, Taiwan companies gradually move to China and set up their R＆D centers there.
