使用陽離子性界面活性劑(十六烷基三甲基溴化銨,CTAB)於甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)與丙烯酸-2-乙基,己基酯(2-EHA)為主成分之乳化共聚合(於65℃),順利製備水性感壓膠。此乳液具有甚高的黏度(對水相對黏度達7,700),遠高於陰離子性界面活性劑(十二烷基硫酸鈉,SDS)所製備之乳液。而且,不同之界面活性劑系統所製備黏劑具有迥異之極限黏度、速黏性、剪切與剝離強度。
The latex pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) was prepared successfully by using cationic surfactant (cetyltrimethylammonium bromide, CTAB) in the emulsion copolymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and 2-ethylhexyl acrylate (2-EHA) at 65℃. The latex prepared by using cationic surfactant exhibited quite high a viscosity (the relative viscosity being as high as 7,700), much higher than that prepared by using anionic surfactant (sodium dodecyl sulfate, SDS). Besides, different surfactant systems produced the adhesives having tremendously different values in intrinsic viscosity, tack, shear strength and peel strength.
