本研究旨在以組織健康之觀點,修訂衡量國民中學學校組織健康之量表,並針對國民中學組織健康現況,及其與背景變項之關聯進行探討。研究時採取調查研究法,以信度分析、試探性因素分析、二階驗證性因素分析及變異數分析等統計方式分析資料。所得之研究結論為:一、國民中學學校組織健康係由七個構面組成。二、國民中學學校組織健康現況大致良好。三、國民中學之學校組織健康以機構的自主性層面表現較佳。四、性別、年齡、擔任職務與年資在學校組織健康上有顯著差異,但其效應量尚屬低度。學歷、學校規模和學校地區在學校組織健康上則無顯著差異。最後,針對後續之研究及實務提出建議。

英文摘要

The major purpose of this study was to revise the Organizational Health Inventory using health as a metaphor to conceptualize and measure aspects of school climate. The results of exploratory factor analysis indicated that organizational health of the junior high schools could be mostly explained by seven factors including institution integrity, principal influence, consideration, initiating structure, resource support, morale, and academic emphasis. An assessment was conducted and the results showed that, among all of the dimensions of school health, institution integrity had the highest score in the junior high schools of Taiwan. Also, the overall index of school health was perceived significantly different from characteristics of teachers including sex, age, administrative position, and seniority.
