張載的哲學內涵浩瀚龐大,學界多有人認為張載所闡發者乃是以氣化為主的氣論哲學,但本文另持異議,不贊同張載哲學乃一氣論哲學。本文發端即列舉幾位當代詮釋張子哲學的知名學者,論其精妙與不足之處,總結以牟宗三先生的詮解乃最符合張載原意者。以牟先生之講論為依據,綜合張載哲學之中心意旨乃在「參兩通一」之妙義,而參兩通一原則主要包含三個意義:兼體不累、參天兩地與性總合兩三層義理。總合這三個意思而界定參兩通一,發現此原則也適用在其他理學家的哲學論述,意即此原則是一普遍性原則,可當作儒家形上學之共法,由此原則而入,可以了解儒家形上學之意涵,本文特舉程顥、楊簡二人為證。
