目前大部分的太陽能系統,都是採用固定式,所以無法隨時讓太陽能光
電板與陽光保持垂直,因此,也無法使太陽能光電板隨時都發揮其最大效
率,尤其在上午與下午太陽斜射時,效果最差。因為太陽能光電板的重量相當
重,一片可發電100 W 的太陽能光電板約重達10 公斤,1KW的系統,再加上
支架之後,其重量將超過100 公斤,如果採用馬達驅動的方式,一來需要增
加高昂的馬達購置成本,其次,馬達的耗電量太多,造成目前太陽光電能系統
大多採用固定式,不具備追日功能,對太陽能的運用與推廣非常不利。本
M284856 號專利提出一種『彈簧式追日裝置』,不必使用馬達,只以廉價的定
時器、電磁閥、彈簧、水槽與管路,就能以極為低廉的價格使太陽能系統達到
追日的功能,可以大幅改善傳統太陽能系統的效能。

英文摘要

Currently available photoelectric plates or solar energy collecting devices
are fixed and, thus, are unsatisfactory. In a conventional solar energy
system capable of generating 1KW, its solar module has a weight of about
10Kg. The solar module and other cooperating components such as supporters
may have a total weight more than 100 Kg. Also, a solar collector is quite heavy. Thus, the revolving of the solar energy system by motor may disadvantageously consume much energy and increase cost. This is not desired.Taiwan Utility Model No. M284856 discloses a spring type solar
tracking device that allows the photoelectric plates or solar energy collecting devices to be at better angles facing the sun to obtain better absorption of solar energy. As a result, the solar tracking device can allow the photoelectric plates or solar energy collecting devices to face the sun at any time and, thus, greatly enhance solar energy absorbing efficiency at low cost while consuming less energy.
