多囊性卵巢症候群會引起代謝異常症候群(metabolic syndrome),雖然治療多囊性卵巢症候群(polycystic ovary syndrome, PCOS)常以症狀療法為主;但是以改善生活方式作為輔助治療,例如飲食及運動,它所扮演的重要角色仍然被大多數學者推薦,低溫烹飪方法,如蒸、煮、燉等,是最益人體健康的,本文除以西醫角度探討中醫藥材與食材的營養價值,同時也從中醫觀點探討飲食的營養觀!

英文摘要

Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) often causes metabolic syndrome. Although treatments for PCOS often focus on symptoms, most researchers suggest incorporating life style adjustment, such as diet and exercise, as complimentary treatment. Cooking under low temperature such as steam, boil, and stew can benefit human health the most. This article discusses the nutritional value of TCM herbs and food materials from the point of view of Western medicine as well as from the point of view of traditional Chinese medicine.
