本文是針對耶穌在馬太福音22:34-40 中金律的教訓「愛人如己」，來探討此誡命與舊約以色列先知傳統的教導如何聯繫在一起。因為耶穌在回答律法師的問題上，將「盡心、盡性、盡意愛神」與「愛人如己」兩條誡命視為是律法與先知道理一切的總綱。到底耶穌所說的金律「愛人如己」是如何從整個舊約傳統中發展出來？透過字義研究與縱覽過整個舊約的內容（律法、先知、聖卷），探討其中對於「愛人如己」有關經文的教訓，發現雖有類似概念的經文，但是以五經中的《利未記》19:18，最為直接與金律是相似概念的經文。然而耶穌卻以此兩條誡命作為所有神的律法、誡命的基礎，賦予新的意涵「愛」的元素。因此，耶穌所指涉的金律，不應當理解為祇是對舊約《利未記》一節經節的引用，耶穌在這裡對金律的教訓所宣告的意涵應當是更寬廣的，更積極的道德生活律則。

This essay discusses the golden rule “you shall love your neighbor as
yourself” raised by Jesus in Mt 22:34-40 and how the golden rule is related to the Israelite prophetic tradition in the Hebrew Bible. Since Jesus proclaims that on the two commandments: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind” and “you shall love your neighbor as yourself” hang all the law and the prophets, the question is how the golden rule develops from the tradition of the Hebrew Bible? Through the words study (love, neighbor) and survey the whole content of the Hebrew Bible, Leviticus 19:18 is the
most direct passage and similar concept with the Jesus’ teaching of the golden rule.
In light of the study and survey, however, Jesus quotes the Levitic passage here in his confrontation with the law teacher not only for the purpose of quotation and argument itself, but also for giving it a new broad meaning, an active element ‘love’ for moral application in the daily life.
